Purview makes it easy to share your medical images with millions of the best health care providers across the United States. By electronically storing your medical images with Purview, you can designate any of the 3.9 million health care providers in Purview’s database to access your images.

This means you no longer need to carry sets of film or CD’s with you to the doctor. It eliminates the risk of images being lost or damaged. Instead, electronic storage with Purview makes it easier than ever to share your images with your health care provider so they can provide the best care possible.

Electronic image storage through Purview allows health care providers to:

    • Use a fully diagnostic, FDA approved image viewer.
    • View medical images in both 2D and 3D.
    • View images on multiple devices including computers, iPhones, iPads and Androids.
    • Make images more portable and easy to share.

Phillip Jackson: Once your images have been stored in Purview, it’s extremely easy for you to share that information. There are over 3.9 million health care providers in our database. All you need to do is enter in their first and last name and the state that they work in, and click share.

What’s really special about the access that your health care provider will have is that the image viewer that we provide is fully diagnostic, it’s FDA approved, it provides your doctor the ability to not only look at your images in 2D, but to also look at them in 3D, which can be an advantage for them from a clinical standpoint. This is much different than having to take a set of film or a CD directly to a health care provider.

Being able to share this information electronically, you can reach the best and brightest health care providers in the United States at some of the best health care institutions in the world, and you can not only share from a computer work station, but you can share from a mobile device, an iPad, an iPhone, an Android, which makes your health care records that much more portable.
